The bar scene in Beijing offers a wide range of live music and famous DJs. Some areas are more popular with the expatriate crowd while others with the Chinese. In general, dress codes tend to be lax with the price of alcohol relatively low.
Beijing's nightclubs usually stay open until the last customer leaves. The scene is unique through its Beijing charm. Cover charges rarely exceed CNY 50 or CNY 100 (and usually includes a drink). Below you can find a list of favorite Scout bars and nightclubs.
